About Default Theme
The default VeloCMS theme. Dark, fast, opinion-free.
The starting point
Every VeloCMS install starts here. This theme is designed to be quiet, fast, and easy to override — light enough to disappear under your content, structured enough to be a real starting point. From here, customize colors, swap fonts, or jump to one of our 29 designer themes.
What we stand for
Fast by default
Sub-1s LCP out of the box. No CSS-in-JS, no client-side hydration cost.
Quiet typography
Inter for body, Inter for headings. Get to writing — typography decisions later.
Customizable
Every color, font, and spacing variable is a CSS custom property.
